Class size: 12
The Lamb Room is our infant room and includes children from age 6 weeks through 9 months, sometimes longer depending on the child. The Lamb Room is clean, friendly and full of age-appropriate equipment and toys to stimulate our children. The maximum group size in the room is 12. Licensing requires a 4 to 1 ratio for infants under one year of age. The Lamb Room offers a 3 to 1 ratio, which enables us to provide more one-on-one attention for your child. Our infant program places an emphasis on developing trust by having needs met promptly and consistently. A primary caregiver is assigned to each group of three infants to provide maximum opportunity for attachment. Our goal is to care for your infant as you would and therefore we allow each infant to follow his or her own schedule.

Class size: 12-15
The Duck Room is our older infant room and includes children from age 9 months through 15 months, sometimes longer depending on the child. The Duck Room was created to make your child’s transition from infant to toddler an easier one. While in the Duck Room, our children often go from crawling to walking, from bottles to sippy cups, and from baby food to table food. The maximum group size in the room is 15. Licensing requires a 5 to 1 ratio for one year old children. The Duck Room offers a 4 to 1 ratio, which enables us to provide more one-on-one attention for your child. The Duck Room program provides an opportunity for children to experience the beginning of independence, while primary caregivers attend to their individual needs. Our goal is to get your child ready to be a happy, active toddler.

The Cub Room is our young toddler room and includes children from age 15 months through 24 months, sometimes longer depending on the child. In the Cub Room, your child will be given opportunities to experience hands-on activities and to explore new surroundings. The children dance to music, listen to stories, explore sensory activities and participate in age-appropriate projects, which help them in working on their fine motor skills. The Cub Room program provides your child with enough freedom to explore their environment without compromising safety. The maximum group size is 15. Our goal is to help your child grow from a young toddler to an active, talkative, always-on-the-go toddler.

The Penguin Room is our older toddler room and includes children from age 2 years through 2 years, 6 months, sometimes longer depending on the child. In the Penguin Room, the older toddlers are provided with the opportunity to make choices. Independence is encouraged and creativity and imagination are promoted through small group activities and free play. The program begins with basic centers, which include blocks, dramatic play, manipulatives, and reading rug. Self-help skills are encouraged by showing the children how to try new things on their own, but our team of early childhood educators is always there to help, hug and comfort when needed. Communication skills are promoted as the children begin to interact more with their peers. The Penguin Room also introduces your child to the potty, although he or she is never forced. The maximum group size in the room is 18. Our goal is to gently assist your child in furthering his or her independence.

The Tiger Room is our preschool room and includes children from age 2 years old, 6 months to 3 years, sometimes longer depending on the classroom. In the Tiger Room, we help to promote healthy development of social skills through structured preschool activities, games and songs. During choice time, children are given the opportunity to explore many different centers, such as Art, Library, Manipulative, Music, Dramatic-play, Sensory Table and Block Center. The focus in the Tiger Room is more on the process the child took to create something rather than the product. At this stage, potty training is a big event and we encourage open communication parents to help your child achieve success. As child care providers, we realize that each child is different and has their own unique qualities to bring to the Tiger Room and we embrace these differences because each child is an important piece to our puzzle. The maximum group size in the room is 24. Our goal is to help your child set goals, make decisions, communicate and develop age-appropriate social skills.

The Monkey Room is our preschool room and includes children from age 3 years to 4 years. The main focus of the Monkey Room program is self-help skills, fine motor development, and fostering self-esteem. The Monkeys are provided with a center-based learning environment to allow each child to explore and make independent choices each day. Each child develops at a different pace and therefore the curriculum in the Monkey Room is designed to provide individual growth for each child. Activity Centers promote independent choices and enhance fine motor skills. The maximum group size in the room is 24. Our goal is to help your child learn and grow through one of his or her most important developmental years.

The children are provided with a wide-range of “hands-on” experiences to support their social, physical, and cognitive development.
