Frequently Asked Questions
What ages does Noah’s take?
6 weeks to 8 years
Does Noah’s offer part-time childcare?
We offer 2 or 3 full days per week, but we do not split days between mornings or afternoons
How long is your waiting list?
At this time, we are no longer accepting registrations for full-time or part-time care as our waiting list is too long. Please check back as the waiting list changes quite often.
How do I get on the waiting list?
To hold a spot for your child a non-refundable deposit is required. A $100 Family Registration Fee plus the first week’s tuition is required to hold your spot.
Do you have tours?
Not only do we encourage parents or parents-to-be to drop by anytime the Center is open, we recommend it. In our opinion, if a child care center forces you to schedule a tour, you will not get an accurate picture of the “daily life!” Stop by anytime or multiple times and feel free to bring your family members along. We look forward to meeting you and showing you “the Ark in the Park.”
Is the deposit refundable?
No, the deposit is non-refundable
Do you offer a sibling discount?
Absolutely. We have many families that have multiple children attending our center. For one sibling, we offer a 10% discount off the 2nd child. For two siblings, we offer a 10% discount off the 2nd child and a 15% discount off the 3rd child.
What is included in your tuition?
We serve morning and afternoon snacks and catered lunch, prepared according to USDA guidelines. We also provide infant formula, infant cereal, and Gerber baby food should parents wish to take advantage of that option. We serve whole milk to children under 2, fat-free milk to children over 2 and 100% fruit juice. We provide baby wipes in the infant and toddler rooms. Most importantly, we are proud to say that our staff-to-Child ratios exceed State Licensing requirements.
Are staff CPR and first aid certified?
All staff is both CPR and First Aid certified
Are staff water safety certified?
We currently have 17 staff that are water safety certified
Do you encourage family involvement?
Yes! We have several events throughout the year where we encourage parents to come and spend time here with their child. Our Annual Family Fun Fair is held in the fall, we have a Halloween Parade on Halloween, we have a full Thanksgiving Dinner for lunch on the Thursday before Thanksgiving for the children and a guest, our Holiday Open House is open to everyone in December, every other year we have an adult only Art Show to show off a piece of every child’s artwork, we have a Mother’s Day Tea, a Father’s Day Event and an Ice Cream Social in July.
Is staff encouraged to continue their education?
Absolutely. All staff is required to complete 18 hours of ECE workshops every year. Noah’s Ark also offers tuition assistance to any of our staff looking to take a college course.
What do you use for cleaning products?
We use a Lysol Quaternary solution to clean our toys that is safe for the children to put in their mouths once dried. Our changing tables and bathrooms are cleaned with a bleach and water solution.
